DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER To Debut New Song At WACKEN OPEN AIR Festival
July 29, 2010Germany's DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER will debut a brand new song during the band's appearance at this year's Wacken Open Air festival on August 6 in Wacken, Germany. The track will appear on the group's as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2008's "Licht", tentatively due in February 2011 via Nuclear Blast Records.
DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER had its latest album, "Licht", released in the U.S. in November 2009 via The End Records. The U.S. version of the LP comes with six bonus tracks (two studio, four live) and "stunning" new album art, including an alternate cover.
Released in Europe on August 29, 2008 via Nuclear Blast Records, "Licht" was the group's first and only album to feature guitarist Lady Cat-Man, who replaced Pitrone in February 2008.
DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER parted ways with Lady Cat-Man last year and replaced her with Adrian "Ady" Vogel.
DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER's live CD, "Adrenalin", was given away for free with the September 2009 issue of Metal Hammer magazine. The full-length album was recorded during the band's fall 2008 Reiterfestspiele tour in Germany and Russia and came with a complete booklet, rare pictures, and liner notes.
